Lauren Wills - Principal
I started dancing at the age of 2 1/2 at Collective Dance and Drama in Rickmansworth where I learnt ballet, tap, jazz, modern, contemporary and musical theatre.
After finishing school I completed a Foundation course with the Collective College and gained teaching qualifications in ballet, jazz and modern.
After leaving Collective I worked at Disneyland Paris as a dancer in the parades and dressed up as characters.
For the last seven years I have been a professional cheerleader as part of the Saracen Sensations where I have become a qualified Cheerleading coach in dance, stunts and gymnastics. As part of the Sensations I have had the opportunity to dance with Tinie Tempah, The Saturdays, Tinchy Stryder, Ronan Parks, Right Said Fred, Eliza Doolittle and McFly at Wembley Stadium where I have performed many times.
I have also danced at many 20/20 cricket matches at Lord's Cricket Ground as part of the Pantherettes.
I look forward to an exciting time with Kaliedoscope!
Becky Dale- Teacher and Workshops
started training at a young age in musical theatre, tap, ballet,
contemporary, modern and jazz at Collective Dance and Drama. She then
went on to study further at GCSE, A levels, a foundation course at
Urdang and finally a Diploma there too. She
started teaching for Collective Dance and Drama at the age of 16,
teaching ballet, tap, jazz and musical theatre to
children from age 2-14. Since
graduating Rebecca has been focused on getting a job within the musical
theatre industry. Attending dance class, singing lessons and going to
as many auditions as she can. She
recently appeared in a film called "White Cane", where she was one of
the lead characters and got to dance in it as well. And also appeared in
a show "Musical Mayhem" at The Tristan Bates Theatre.
She has recently joined the Kaliedoscope team as our new street jazz teacher on Monday nights and we are thrilled for her to be teaching for us.
Katie Roberts - Teacher
Katie has been dancing since
the age of 3, and is trained in a wide range of dance styles: ballet,
tap, modern, jazz, lyrical, and contemporary. Through this she has been able to
perform in many amazing venues and theatres over the years. She graduated
from the University of Bedfordshire, having obtained a Bachelor of Arts with
Honors degree in Dance and Professional Practice. Since the age of 18 she has been teaching Dance to all different ages and abilities, and loves being able to share her passion with others, and hopes to continue to do so.
Aoife Gallagher - Assistant Teacher and Receptionist
You will find Aoife on reception on Monday nights at the Croxley Methodist Church as well as helping in the younger street jazz classes and also in the tap classes on a Thursday.
